LoungeKey™ Pass, a digital travel experiences programme, operated by Collinson – a global leader in the provision of airport experiences, loyalty and customer engagement solutions, and owner and operator of Priority Pass – announces a new partnership with Japan’s first global relocation agency services provider, Relocation International Inc today.
This partnership will enable eligible clients of Relocation International Inc to purchase a one-time access to enjoy LoungeKey’s™ network of over 1,400 airport lounges and travel experiences at more than 650 airports across the world. By simply scanning a QR code upon entry, travellers can access an extensive network of airport lounges and enjoy a wide range of retail, dining and spa offers at the airports.
This is timely as travel is picking-up pace. Besides travellers globally planning to make 80% of the trips that they did pre-pandemic (as our studies have shown), 62% of them are also willing to cut back on non-essential retail purchases to fund their travel.
Travellers in Japan place a heightened focus and value on premium travel experiences. In a recent survey conducted by Collinson with 4,750 consumers in Asia Pacific (11% of respondents being from Japan), airport lounge access was ranked as the number one travel-related benefit.
Given the return of travel and with consumers’ expectations evolving, it brings new opportunities for brands around the world to re-engage and deepen their relationships with their customers; for instance, through travel loyalty benefits, such as airport lounge access.
